Tanzania Value Safari

Day 01: FROM KILIMANJARO AIRPORT TO HOTEL IN ARUSHA

On arrival you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel on the outskirts of the City of Arusha. This is the starting point of your northern Tanzania Safari.

You will overnight stay at SG Resort - 3 Star (tourist class). Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast.

Day 02: ARUSHA - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.

08:00am after breakfast your safari guide will brief you on your day to day activities then you will depart Arusha driving to Tarangire National Park. This park offers wide panoramas of open acacia woodland and savannah grassland where huge herds of Elephants (often two hundred strong) and other unique residents, such as fringe-eared Oryx and Lesser Kudu roam free, Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam. Entering Tarangire National Park around 11:00am with en-route game viewing, proceed to your lodge for check in and lunch. We will also have an afternoon game drive within the Tarangire National park. At 6 pm we will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay Tarangire Sopa Lodge or Tarangire River Camp - 4 Star. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 03: FROM TARANGIRE TO NGORONGORO CRATER.

Today after an early breakfast we'll proceed with en-route game drive from Tarangire National Park passing through the colourful village of Mto wa Mbu and village of Karatuu. Arriving in the evening at Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge check in lodge and have dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge - 3 Star. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 04: NGORONGORO CRATER.

After breakfast descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half day crater tour and game viewing with picnic lunches packed and ready to enjoy. This oval shape Ngorongoro Crater is 300 sq. km in area and 610m deep. It is a repository of Africa's finest wildlife. All the big five are present and living a privileged existence on the crater floor. In the evening ascend the crater rim with clouds rolling over like a misty waterfall. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge - 3 Star. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 05: OLDUPAI GORGE - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

This morning we will drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation and area passing through Malanja Depression towards Oldupai Gorge. We will visit the museum featuring the famous Zinj skull, the Zinjanthropus man of 1.8 million years ago, whose remains were found here by Dr. Leakey. After lunch we enter the Serengeti National Park through Nabi hill gate and drive toward Seronera River valley en route game drive overnight stay and dinner at the Seronera Wildlife Lodge or Lobo Wildlife Lodge or Ikoma Bush Camp or Kijereshi Camp - 3 Star. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 06 & 07: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

We will spend 3 days in Serengeti National Park; this area is as big as Northern Ireland! It is the greatest game sanctuary in the world; fantastic in its natural beauty and unequalled in its scientific value. Serengeti contains about 4 million different types of animals including the big cats, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Elephant and Buffalo and more. Enjoy a full day game viewing and photo safari within Serengeti National park. You will have the choice of hot lunch at the lodge or picnic lunch, each day. By 6:00pm we will drive back to our base Lodge for overnight stay at Seronera Wildlife Lodge or Lobo Wildlife Lodge or Ikoma Bush Camp or Kijereshi Camp - 3 Star. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 08: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO LAKE MANYARA.

After breakfast we bid farewell to beautiful Serengeti en route game drive with picnic lunch as we head off via Simba Kopjes, Naabi Hill gate driving towards Ngorongoro highlands. We will stop on the crater rim to enjoy one of the most memorable views of Ngorongoro Crater and you can admire this masterpiece of mother nature. Proceed to Lake Manyara Hotel on the edge of the Great Rift Valley with breathtaking views of great landscape, Lake Manyara National Park and village of Mto wa Mbu, overnight stay at Lake Manyara Hotel or Migunga Forest Camp - Lake Manyara - 3 Star. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 09: LAKE MANYARA

Today you have morning and afternoon game drives at Lake Manyara National Park. Though small in size it contains a variety of habitat and diverse animals and birds. Lake Manyara National park is also famous for its tree-climbing Lions and numerous migratory birds. We will enjoy our morning and afternoon game viewing followed by lunch and dinner at your lodge, overnight stay at Lake Manyara Hotel or Migunga Forest Camp - Lake Manyara - 3 Star. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 10: FROM LAKE MANYARA HOTEL TO ARUSHA.

After breakfast you will return to the City of Arusha thus ending your 10-day safari in Tanzania. We will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARU) for your onward journey to Zanzibar Beach Holiday or return back home. Meal plan: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch.
