Day 2: La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Hot Springs Baldi - Active Arenal Volcano
Baldi is without a doubt a perfect choice of Hot Springs for families, it offers 16 different pools with temperatures from 35 to 65 degrees Celsius. While enjoying your mineral bath you will also enjoy a great view to the Arenal Volcano. On a clear night you can witness impressive Lava Flows. The pools are also handicap friendly. The establishment offers two wet bars, an impressive restaurant and spa. In addition, they have a Pyramid offering a most remarkable view of the entire Northern Zone. Day 3: River Rafting Sarapiqui River
River Rafting Sarapiqui River Class II-III The run takes two and a half hours combining spectacular rainforest with colorful farmlands.

Day 4: South Pacific Region
After the high adrenaline activity yesterday, we can slow things down a today. Proceed to the South Pacific region of Costa Rica known for its biological diversity, natural beauty, and complex ecosystems. National Geographic magazine has called the area "the most biologically intense place on earth". This southern region offers dramatic scenery and unforgettable. Hacienda Jabes Lodge, located in Playa Uvita Osa Puntarenas, Costa Rica is strategically located near the major attractions of the area such as Whale National Marine Park, Uvita Beach, Playa Arcos, Playa Ventanas and much more. It is without doubt one of the richest biological areas of the country where you can enjoy your lodge surrounded by the rainforest, rivers, streams, paths with exquisite views that allow you observe a wide variety of birds as well as some of the diversity of fauna and flora unique to the area.
Day 5: Corcovado National Park Tour
Corcovado Park is home to almost 400 species of birds, 140 species of mammals and 116 species of amphibians and reptiles and 6000 species of insects. 6 natural eco-systems have been identified in the park and it protects endangered species such as the jaguar, puma, crocodile, tapir, poison dart and golden frogs, and the harpy eagle. The rainforest is also home to numerous plants and insects that are extremely valuable for scientific and medical discovery. It is the premier place in Costa Rica to see the diverse wildlife that exists in the country
Day 6: Snorkeling or Hiking Ballena National Park
Ballena National Park was created in 1990 to preserve and protect the coral reef that surrounds Ballena & Las Tres Hermanas Islands. This park also protects 13 km of pristine coastline including beautifull beaches such as: Playa Ventanas, Playa Pinuelas, Playa Ballena, Playa Hermosa and Playa Bahia. Marino Ballena Park's most interesting feature is a Tombolo or land bridge which links the offshore reef to the mainland of Uvita Bay. This natural bridge, formed by sedimentation, can be seen and accessed only at low tide.
In this park you can also find sponges, corals, mollusks, algae, echinoderms, crabs and other creatures which are adapted to the strong tidal waves. Green Iguanas are plentiful in the park. It is also an important refuge and nesting place for numerous marine birds including the frigate and the sea earwig. It is considered an important place for reproduction for the Humpback Whale which comes to these tropical waters during winter months. Later today transfer to San Jose and overnight at The Marino
Day 7: Canopy Tour (zipLine) and Gold Museum
The Poas Canopy Tour is the most popular adventure tour in the mountain. It follows a set of strict quality and safety rules in accordance with international standards. With 24 platforms in the major trees, an extraordinary trail has been designed above the canopy forest. The tour, approximately two hours, is an experience filled with adventure and excitement. You travel through the treetops on fourteen cables suspended high above the jungle trails with the help and under the supervision of highly qualified professional personnel. This exhilarating adventure ends when you glide down on an impressive 1980-foot long cable.
Now winding down, you will learn more about Costa Rica's Pre-Columbian past, currency history, and visual arts in the Central Bank Museums. A total of 5 different exhibits, 2 permanent and 3 temporary, await your enjoyment.
