Best of East Africa - Safari of a Lifetime!

Day 01: Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi (NBO), you will be met by your safari guide who will transfer you to your hotel for overnight. Pan Afric Hotel - tourist class; Meal Plan: Breakfast.

Day 02: From Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast travel to Lake Nakuru National Park for game drive. Nakuru is famous for its Pink Flamingos, White Rhino, Lion, and Leopard. Drive to the edge of the Lake to view thousands of birds feeding in the alkaline water; enjoy the sweeping view from the top of Baboon Rocks; then look for Warthogs and Waterbucks as you leave the park.

Dinner and overnight stay at your deluxe safari lodge at Lion Hill Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge - First class.

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 03: To Masai Mara Game Reserve.

After breakfast travel to Masai Mara Game Reserve for game drive. The Mara is famous for its Big Five and Big cats, Lion, Leopard and Cheetah, en-route game drive in the evening, dinner and overnight stay at your deluxe safari lodge Mara Simba Lodge or Mara Serena Lodge - First class. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 04: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular Masai Mara game reserve with superb photographic opportunities. Blessed with a permanent water supply, Masai Mara has a permanent population of plains game. The "Big Five" - Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Rhino are quite common. Dinner and overnight stay at your deluxe safari lodge Mara Simba Lodge or Mara Serena Lodge - First class. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 05: Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we pack up and leave the lodge with a picnic lunch for a drive from Masai Mara crossing the Kenya and Tanzania boarder of Isebania and Serari where you will clear customs and Immigration then entering Serengeti National Park via Ndabaka. The park's name, Serengeti, means 'endless plains' and is derived from the Masai language. The park lies in a high plateau between the Ngorongoro highlands and the Kenya and Tanzania border, if time permits we'll have en-route game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at your deluxe safari lodge Serengeti Serena Lodge or Mbalageti Camp - First class. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 06: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast enjoy your Tanzania safari in the world famous wildlife sanctuary-the Serengeti National Park. The largest National Park in Tanzania, it is about 14,763 sq kms in area. Summed up as 'one of the most unique areas in the world'. The Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa on a scale which has no parallel anywhere in the world. The abundance of herbivores includes wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelle, Topi, Buffalo, and Hartebeest, to name but a few. Serengeti is also famous for Predators e.g. Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Hyena and contains a wide variety of birdlife believed to be in the region of 500 species. Dinner and overnight stay at your deluxe safari lodge Serengeti Serena lodge or Mbalageti Camp - First class. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 07: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast enjoy another day observing wildlife in Serengeti National Park. Your safari guide will explore various areas Moro kopjes and Gol kopjes. The extensive grasslands are interspersed with Kopjes rocky outcrops like islands in the flat plain, each with their own wildlife communities. Discover the Seronera River flowing through the park as it provides ideal habitats for a variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. In the afternoon proceed to Nabi Hill Gate where you will enjoy your picnic lunch; then to Malanja depression entering Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You're now at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge with clouds rolling over the rim like a misty waterfall, the setting is dreamy. Your unique deluxe safari lodge fits into the contours of the Ngorongoro crater rim, and is built of volcanic rock. It offers a spectacular view of the Ngorongoro Crater floor yet it is virtually invisible when you are down on the crater floor the next day on your game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at your deluxe safari lodge, Ngorongoro Serena lodge - First class. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 08: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Today after breakfast prepare to enjoy Africa's Eden. Twelve miles wide the Ngorongoro Crater is famous for its Big Five. Home to the rare Black Rhino, it has its own soda lake with several birds to observe. The concentration of animals means that you are likely to see several lions in a short period of time. You descend 2,200 feet for a thrilling day among Africa's Big Five Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Black Rhino and Leopard, before returning to your deluxe lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or Eunoto Retreat - First class. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

DAY 09: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast leave for Lake Manyara National Park which is one of the finest parks in Tanzania. You will enjoy your morning and afternoon game drives with choice of a Picnic lunch or lunch at your lodge. In the evening depart towards the village of Mto wa Mbu and Great Rift Valley then proceed to your unique safari lodge which offers a spectacular view of Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at your deluxe safari lodges; Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or Eunoto Retreat - First class. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 10: To Amboseli National Park

After breakfast proceed to the City of Arusha which is positioned as the halfway point between Cape Town and Cairo. Head to Amboseli National Park crossing the Tanzania and Kenya boarder at Namanga Manyara where you will clear customs and Immigration. Now you're in Amboseli National Park. If time permits en-route game drive in the late afternoon. Have dinner and overnight stay at your lodge Amboseli Serena Lodge or Amboseli Oltukai Lodge - First class. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 11: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast drive through Amboseli situated at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro (19,430 ft). Amboseli is famous for its vast herds of elephants and stunning views of Kilimanjaro. Be sure to have your camera ready. This afternoon game drive in search of Elephant, Giraffe, Buffalo and much more and lunch will be served at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge or Amboseli Oltukai Lodge - First class. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 12: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

After breakfast drive to Amboseli National Park for your morning game drive returning for lunch at your lodge. In the evening transfer to Nairobi Airport for your journey home after an unforgettable experience!
